Finish a level to earn a leaf. Your first leaf comes from the short tutorial puzzle and brings home the cat. The room's empty spots show the shape of what goes there and its price in leaves; tap one you can afford to place it. There are twelve things to place, from a cup of tea for 1 leaf to a crackling fireplace for 6.
No. There is no timer, no mistakes limit and no score to beat. Take as long as you like on every puzzle.
There is no difficulty picker; levels get harder on their own. Levels 1 to 10 teach the basics. From 11 to 30 the puzzles are a little harder, with a hard level every fifth. After level 30 most levels are hard, every tenth is super hard, and the levels right after each spike ease off again.
Tap the lightbulb for a nudge. It points to a cell where the next number can be found, names the technique and explains why it works, from Hidden Single and Naked Single up to Pointing, pairs and triples, X-Wing, XY-Wing and Swordfish. If a number you entered doesn't fit, the nudge points that out first.
At home she wanders the room, hops in and out of her basket and sits by the fire. While you play she sits in a little circle above the board, watches the cell you pick, cheers when you're right and looks worried when a number doesn't fit. Double-tap her and she strolls along the top of the board.
Teacup is on the App Store as a one-time purchase of US$0.99 (the price differs by country). There are no ads, no in-app purchases and no subscription.
Teacup plays fully offline, and there is no account to create or sign in to.

Your levels, leaves and room are stored only on your iPhone and are not synced. Deleting the app deletes your progress, and it can't be restored.
Teacup is made for iPhone and needs iOS 18 or later. There is no Android version yet.
